Abstract: Through the general description and classification of high-voltage safety and Y-capacitance for electric vehicles (EVs), this paper analyzes the impact of Y-capacitance on EVs in terms of risk of electric shock, insulation monitoring and accuracy, and proposes suggestions for the design of Y-capacitance on high-voltage platforms.
